A new bike modification company, BikeMods, is raising more money than ever before.
BikeMods has raised over $1 million in seed funding, with the most recent round of funding coming from a group of investors including Google Ventures, Union Square Ventures, and Accel Partners.
In a press release, BikeMod founder Ben Dickey told TechCrunch that his company has raised $500,000 in the last year alone, with another $400,000 coming in through a $100,000 Series B round earlier this year.
Dickey explained that the startup’s goal is to grow the company’s user base and get more people to buy its products.
Ditch the bike, and BikeMods can become your new commuting companion.
